Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about plant watering and care in Sammamish, Issaquah, and Redmond.

What areas do you serve?

Cascade Plants serves Sammamish, Issaquah, and Redmond, Washington, for both residential and commercial plant care.

How does vacation plant watering work?

You let us know your travel dates and how often your plants need water. We visit your home on that schedule, water everything, and can also check on general plant health, rotate plants toward light, or flag anything that looks stressed. No key box or fuss, just reliable care while you're away.

Do you provide plant care for offices, salons, or clinics?

Yes. Cascade Plants offers recurring plant care for commercial spaces including offices, salons, clinics, and cafes in Sammamish, Issaquah, and Redmond. We work around your business hours and can set up a regular watering and maintenance schedule so your plants stay healthy without anyone in-house having to think about it.

How often should indoor office plants be watered?

It depends on the plant, the pot, and the light in the space, most common office plants like pothos, snake plants, and ZZ plants do well on a 7 to 14 day watering cycle, but overwatering is the most common way office plants actually die. We assess each plant individually rather than watering everything on the same schedule.

What's included in a typical visit?

Every visit includes watering, a soil and moisture check, and a look for pests or disease. We also handle light pruning and deadheading as needed, and flag anything that needs more attention, like repotting or a change in light exposure.
